The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in primary and upper primary schools in the state of UP.
Exam Overview
UPTET consists of two papers:
- Paper 1: For those who intend to be a teacher for classes 1st to 5th.
- Paper 2: For those who intend to be a teacher for classes 6th to 8th.
UPTET Exam Pattern
All questions in UPTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There is no negative marking.
