UP Police SI 2023 | Selection Procedure

Candidates applying for the posts of UP SI Exam will be selected based on the following criteria:

UP Police SI 2023 | Exam Pattern

Before we go through the UPSI syllabus, let us first check the exam pattern. The UPSI exam pattern provides an idea about the sections or subjects that the exam will have.

UPSI written examination consists of 4 sections in total. The total marks for all these sections are 400 and the total duration of the exam is 02 hours.( 120 Minutes). The section-wise exam pattern for the UP Police SI exam preparation is as follows:

1. There will be an objective type of online test.
2. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
3. The test will be available in both Hindi and English language except the General Hindi part.
4. The UPSI written exam comprises of four parts where each section will have 40 questions and 100 marks.
5. Thus, there will be a total of 160 questions of 2.5 marks each comprising a total of 400 marks.
6. The test duration will be of 2 hours. (120 minutes).
7. Candidates failing to obtain a minimum of 35% in each of the above sections would not be eligible for the recruitment.

First, check the physical requirements of UP SI post like height and chest. If you are eligible according to the criteria, then it is better that you start preparing to physical exam.

Run 5 km daily to build your stamina along with 100m sprint, 10 chin-ups, 50 push-ups, and 40 sit-ups. Also, for a better physique, you can join your nearest gym.

Even after passing most of the tests, many candidates are left behind in the race, it depends on your practice.

Candidates who run 8-10 KM per day, such students fail to run in the final as seen in many previous exams. Therefore, the most important thing is that you should prepare as much running as you need. If you prepare according to the race demanded in the UP police examination, then you will get more benefit from it.

How to run?

First of all, complete 1-2 rounds with ease. If you already put more energy in the starting rounds, then you will be tired early and cannot make to the last in time. So, try to put your full energy on the end of race.
