CSIR UGC NET & JRF Process:-
National Testing Agency will conduct the written test for the National Eligibility Test of CSIR UGC NET & JRF. Candidates who got equal to or above the cut off marks all those aspirants will pass the exam. As each year the number of aspirants sits in a Government Exams increases so the competition level also increases the candidates are therefore suggested daily practice the CSIR UGC NET & JRF Mock Paper to boost their preparation strategy.

CSIR UGC NET & JRF Exam Centres:-

The test will be held at 27 Centres spread all over India, as specified along with center codes:

Bangalore (1), Bhavnagar (2), Bhopal (3), Bhubaneshwar (4), Chandigarh (5), Chennai (6), Cochin (7) Delhi (8), Guntur (9), Guwahati (10), Hyderabad (11), Imphal (12), Jammu (13), Jamshedpur (14) Jorhat (15), Karaikudi (16), Kolkata (17), Lucknow (18), Nagpur (19) Pilani (20), Pune (21), Raipur (22), Roorkee (23), Srinagar (24), Thiruvananthapuram (25), Udaipur (26) Varanasi (27).

A candidate may opt for any of the above centers. No request for change of center would ordinarily be granted.

CSIR UGC NET & JRF Written Exam Pattern:-

The MCQ test paper of each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks; the exam shall be for a duration of three hours. The question paper shall be divided in three parts.

The Test will be held in a total of five subjects viz., Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Physical Sciences Chemical Sciences, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences. 

Candidates should use an only a black ballpoint pen and not pencil to fill in their particulars in the OMR Answer Sheet/Question Paper Booklet and to darken the appropriate circle to mark their answers in their OMR answer sheet.

The Question Booklet for this test will be printed in Hindi & English Version.

Negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be applicable as per the subject wise scheme of Exam.

Answer: The stipend of a JRF selected through the CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs.25,000/ p.m. for the first two years. In addition, annual contingency grant of Rs.20,000/- per fellow will be provided to the University / Institution. On completion of two years as JRF and if the Fellow is registered for Ph.D., the Fellowship will be upgraded to SRF (NET) and the stipend will be increased to Rs.28,000/- p.m. for the 3rd and subsequent years, on the basis of an assessment of Fellows’ research progress/ achievements through interview by an Expert Committee.

Answer: The tests are conducted twice in a year on all India basis generally in the months of June and December
